I want to see the world.

I want to see the world
Through the eyes of a 3-year-old kid
Where everything is like candy
Where everything is as colorful as a rainbow
Where they still believe that Santa Claus still exist
Where they still believe that the Tooth Fairy would grant them
Where every cloud still would have its very own silver lining.
Where your wish would come true when you blow a candle.

I want to see the world
Through the eyes of a bird
Where everything is light and smooth
Where everything is wide and free
Where oceans and mountains can be conquered
Like nothing is impossible
As long as you have a pair of wings.

I want to see the world
Through your eyes.
Where it shines and glows
Where I see dreams
Where I see a passion that drives
Where I see disappointments
Where I see the past
That cannot be touched anymore

That is where I see hope
But I hardly see fear
That is where I see wants
And I clearly see the desires.

But I fail to see the actual drive.
But I fail to see the actual enthusiasm.

I want to see the world
Through your eyes.
I want you to show it to me.
I want to learn.
I want to know.
